Re: Pictures or experience with TIRR
<t>Hi Marnie,<br/> Our daughter had surgery at TIRR last October. When she again needed surgery this year, I specifically requested TCH (she had had 3 prior surgeries at TCH). Although the family we shared a room with was just great, the room sharing thing is very trying. I was not impressed with th...

Re: Anyone near Albuquerque NM
What is "TDY"? I have a 4 year old daughter, Natalie, who is ROBI. We live in the SE corner of New Mexico.

Re: Questions
Four years ago, we had a consultation in April then surgery in July. Just this year, we went for an exam in the clinic in January and surgery was scheduled for February.

Re: Chiropractic on a brachial plexius injury
<r>OK. I have been watching this subject without saying a word, but the ability to MYOB is not one of my strong suits. Some of you will remember when my husband used to post as "Natty's Daddy" on the 'old' board. He has the rare capacity to post as a father of a ROBPI child as well as a chiropractor...

Infraspinatus Release
<t>Hi all!<br/> I'm not a very frequent poster, but I do visit regularly. I've gotten the impression that perhaps our Natalie is a bit ahead of the curve so to speak when it comes to surgical procedures. She was the 12th child to undergo capsuledesis at TCH and the first to be done as an outpatient....

Post-Pronator Teres Question
<t>Natalie had the pronator teres transfer and infraspinatus release exactly one week ago at TCH. Recuperation has been much harder this time around, but I know we're on the right track--actually got some sleep last night. <br/> <br/> Right now I'm concerned about the increasing tightness in her low...

Yeah Nicole! Boy are we jealous--only one week down since Natty's infraspinatus release and pronator teres transfer. Enjoy the freedom. Hope you guys have a ball at your celebration!

Re: TCH hotel questions
<t>We always stay at the Residence Inn, about a mile south of TCH on Main St, and have always paid $78.00/night for their medical rate. The hotel is nice, quiet and has a huge courtyard to walk around plus numerous hot tubs which Natalie loves. We don't rely much on the shuttle service which does op...

Re: bicep lengthining
<t>Our daughter, Natalie, had the bicep lengthening done in October, '01, at TCH--she was 3 years 9 months. There was never any rush by Dr. Nath; it was just the next course of action. For us there was no comparison between the mod quad and the bicep lengthening. The MQ was a major procedure with a ...

Re: airline discounts
<t>Flying direct is definitely the better option if you can do it. We almost always fly Southwest (not many choices in our neck of the woods) and have had good luck with flight changes. We've had to stay an extra day and were even released early one time and neither time did they charge us to change...
