sometimes it just hurts

Post by admin »

sometimes it just hurts to get up and face another day. when you are not at your physical best yet are going on with your day. then somebody asks where you work so now i go into the whole explnation. i think they do it just to be mean.
sometimes it just hurts. gettin on the computer figured i better come and sorta check in to see what everybody here's been up to ,try to educate myself about myself. read a few posts kath always has something good to say or atleast she always seems to know how i feel a lot of times the balance thing etc. but sometimes seeing myself described and seeing my symptoms described so exactly. it makes me see myself as a disabled person. just like the doctors do. sometimes it just hurts

Its the being alone that hurts not our injury...
Yes people ask nosy questions... since I found UBPN three years ago (60 years alone with this) I found ways to educate people and help to heal my issues...

When we are alone with this injury and don't know how to truly explain it... its a real pain...

I don't know where you live or if you have ever met anyone else with our injury but it is the best healer it is so liberating and you actually find some very funny things that we have in common...

If at all possible check in to the camp information for this summer the last weekend in August in Lake George NY... bring your family.... lots of fun for the kids... I am going with my husband. Believe me bonding with lots of other families who deal with our injury real helps us deal with the ISSUES we all have... LOL... now don't shake your head no yet... just think about it.

Also when people get to nosy in public... I give them little business cards with the meaning of brachial plexus injury... education is the key... I think it was jennynz that suggested that one.

glad you can come here vent... we all need it...

thanks I am glad I can help -- and your pretty good at expressing your self...
