Newcomer...and a little anxious

Hi, All,
My name is Meghan. I was injured during a forceps birth in 1973 and over the years had seen several different doctors to try to understand what was wrong with my right hand and what, if anything, could be done. I've never been formally 'diagnosed' and only seen as an 'interesting neurological case'. I just recently decided to do research again on my own for the first time in almost 10 years thinking maybe 'modern medicine' had made a new discovery and what I found was a description of Klumpke's Palsy that articulated my symptoms exactly. Clearly I have not been to the most educated doctors! I've not ever met anyone with similar symptoms and was nervous and excited at the same time to learn of the UBPN. Thank you for being here and participating in this online forum - for the first time, I don't feel alone in the day to day struggles or like an unsolved mystery!
