What surgery will she be having?
Did you request the medical rate for the Best Western at Longwood? I know it is still expensive even with that though. We think it is expensive, but only worth it b/c you can walk across the street to the hospital and not have to drive anywhere. I hope it all works out for you. Good luck for a successful surgery and fast recovery.

thanks krista, gabby is having the muscle and tendon transfer, wasnt suppose to be until she was 4 but we had to do it earlier due to the severity of her injury. What size shirts did you use for ella when she had her cast on, my gabby is a 2t/3t now?

Ella wore a 6 or 7 after the surgery with the cast on. I bought stretchy shirts. I found cotten turtlenecks at WalMart for cheap so I just bought a few of those in different colors. For bed I bought those Hanes white TSHIRTS in a Large. Anything worked for pants b/c I was able to put them up under the cast a bit. I also used a poncho with tshirts and turtlenecks b/c a coat just didn't work for us.
I don't even want to know what the price of Best Western is now! I know last time it was close to 180 with medical rate and taxes.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
Location: New York
