Forceps, Vacuum, or Hands Survey

Hi Guys,

Hoping that some of you will share. Recently someone brought this up and it led me to be curious. I know this is way informal and not really a survey per say, but if parents and adults with bpi could share I would really appreciate it. I think it would be interesting.

Was your child, or were you, injured at birth due to traction and force from forceps, vacuum or just the very hands of the doctor/midwife?

I guess I should respond first.....HANDS.

Brittney was injured by all three. They put a vacuum on her head, tried forceps and kept trying to 'handle her to get her out. I didn't realize what was going on - Chip was scared. She was pretty bruised after she was born and had a huge open wound on her head that I had to put sauve on - it looked so sore, and her hair didn't come in for almost a year and so her big bald head had a big scar where the vacuum had been - a big patch. She finally grew hair and I don't know if she still has that patch or not. That is something that I have not thought about in so long - at the time I was a new Mom and didn't realize what had happened - but now looking back I remember her and her pussy, bloody looking little new born head. Ok - I need to hummm or something - I'm starting to get angry - I need to think of the postive - that she made it!
