i'm just having a really bad day and am looking for any suggestions.

i went to see dr maniker last week about why my condition is worsening. my pain management doc originally thought i either had a neuroma or scar tissue over my plexus where i had a thoracic outlet decompression. i've had more atrophy, clawing, pain, and lack of coordination in my hand in the last 6 months than in the almost 4 years since my accident.

i had an emg which showed that my nerves are completely normal up until my erb's point. though i'm still numb and clawed. the emg doc thought that maybe i had problems with my nerves at my c8 and t1 or rsd.

now dr maniker won't see me again and says he can't help me. where in god's name do i go from from here??? i have 3 weeks left on a disability leave from my job and they won't hold my job for me...

Danzia, not sure where you live but I would check into anotehr BPI guy straight away and see what they have to say. Some do phoen consults or even email consults. I would try that and see what other kinds of input you can get. i know that Dr. Nath is great with emails. Also maybe check the Mayo Clinic in MN, I hear wondeful things about htem as well. Whatever happends, keep your head high!! Dont settle for less than you deserve! Email me if you need to..

thank you so much for your advice. i do have an appointment with dr nath in december when he has a satellite clinic in jersey. that's just almost a month away and im so nervous about waiting. i finally was able to make an appointment with my pain management doc but not until next tuesday. i will probably email dr nath in the meantime.
