Tell Maia we are all very happy that things went well for her (except for the vommitting, but at least that's over!)
Has she bumped into anything with her arm/splint?
Is she doing okay with it?
Glad you were able to meet up with some families; it's great to put faces to names and to meet people who know what you are dealing with!
