OH I have sooo been there (the run around from the hospital part) I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO SENT ALLLLLL MY RECORDS THAT I REQUESTED 2 MONTHS AGO. That is a good tip that I recieved from someone-get the records asap. No one took responsibility for Chloes injury either (she is 2 months RBPI) and all the records indicate a perfectly normal problem free birth and do NOT mention her erbs palsy even though they diagnosed it at the hospital where she was born. I do not know about surgery yet since she is only two months but I am here to talk if you want. Feel free to email me. I know how difficult this is.

Take care-you are in my thoughts
Mollie

Oh, I just noticed that this was posted in January. So you have probably already gone through the surgery. Still feel free to contact me. I just got so excited to see Newport News!!

Hi, Nickie. I see that this was your only post and it was over 5 months ago. I hope that everything went well for your baby's surgery if he had it done. You mentioned that the right arm has he BPI and that the left arm was broken. You might already know that, but sometimes both arms have a BPI so be sure that a specialist is watching both arms. It's not too common, but it's also not unheard of either. If you'be been back here, but not in "posting mode," please take a few minutes to give us an update on your son. Take care.
