courtney edlinger

Post by admin »

Courtney is in surgery right now, Friday Sept 26, 9:54 a.m. She was 2nd to go but the 1st one has the flu so Dr. Nath came in and off they went. Hopping to move the nerve into the bicept. He said there's "firing" there but probably not enough nerve to help it so this should do it if he's right. We're all praying for the best. I also have her older sister in surgery in Michigan at this moment, having a polynital (sp?) cyst removed from the tail bone, 3rd time. Hopefully this will take care of that. Her father is with her. We do have a great family and we work together. Will keep everyone posted as far as Courtney goes. This is my first time doing this so anyone can email me at mine and let me know if this got through to you guys that she loves so much. That camp did wonders for her and I myself learned soooooooooooooooooooo much. Thought I knew alotas a social worker but can now inform my hospital about alot more........love to you all............Courtney's mom........Shelley

Hi Shelley!

Well by now she's out of surgery and hopefully everything went well. Please let Courtney know that Maia and I are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers.

I am Jewish and tonight begins our new year... I'm hoping for Courtney that this surgery will be the beginning of many new things for her through this coming year.

big hugs,
francine

Tell Courtney we are thinking about her. It was great meeting you at camp. It sounds like you have your hands full, but are dealing with things very well, I commend you Shelley. Courtney is a person with great spirit, she will be just fine. You inspired me to contact my local media when we spoke at camp, and guess what? We have coverage. Show tapes Nov. 11th! We will keep all of you in our prayers!

Shelley,

Thanks for keeping us updated on Courtney. Also on your other daughter. It is wonderful to have a family that cares, that is one of the many things we saw at camp. It is great getting to know you.

Give Courtney our love this morning and let us know how is today.

Love and hugs,

Karen and David
