I'm will be taking my daughter to see Dr.Kozin on Oct.31. Any suggestions on a nice hotel to stay in near the hospital?

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: My son was born on July 1 2011 with a right arm BP injury. He was diagnosed with Erb's palsy at birth and we have been in Physical Therapy since he was a month old. I am looking to connect with others with this injury and discuss treatment options as well as obstacles. Thanks!
Location: Maryland

We just saw Dr. Kozin 2 weeks ago and we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house on Erie Ave. It is only about 10 minutes from the hospital but traffic is horrible and we got lost so it was like 40 minutes for us! You have to get on a wait list for it, and they can't confirm your reservation until the day of arrival. So I called and booked a hotel just in case and I was able to cancel the day of without a fee. Shriners is a great hospital but not in a very good area. There is a hotel right down the street called the Conwell Inn that is on Temple University Campus that number is 215-235-6200. The nurse at Shriners recommended that one as they have campus security there. I would ask about their cancellation policy and then get on the wait list for Ronald Mc Donald house. Thier number is 215-291-0907 or google it the Erie Ave one and there is a online application for a reservation request. They were super nice and very accomadating. We have to go back for surgery with Dr. Kozin in a few weeks and I am hoping to stay there again. Feel free to message me with any questions and good luck!
