Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: C-5 and C-6. Unable to supinate. Contracture elbow. Wrist bone underdeveloped.
Can raise forearm to mouth level. shoulder is limited in movement. Unable to put arm behind back. Secondary- early arthritis, carpal tunnel, pronator syndrome,scoliosis

If we cold get a study done on the overwhelming evidence that BPI causes horrific overuse syndrome in adults, maybe the lawsuit thing would change a little. After all it's not only the BP injury,it's an entire body tha' affected. It doesn't stay the same or improve. I wish the adult exposure would be more evident in these cases. Pat

I could not agree more. We truly need to study the entire body and all the different area's that are affected by this injury.

I think many are just starting to realize that it is the entire body that is affected when we are injured. That not only is our arm injured but the entire side of our body... it took me years to connect all the dots because the whole picture it not out there for doctors to see and learn about...

Awareness is the key to getting proper medical attention.
