Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Eva Welcome! When will Caleb come home to you?
We have many forms here and you are Welcome to post on all of them. In fact many of us post on all of the boards.
There is a General Board where parents exchange ideas on therapy etc.
I have a niece from China and she came home to us almost 10 years ago. :)

I am so glad you found us this will be a great resource for you and Caleb.
Let us know when he arrives.

Thanks, Kath.

We anticipate traveling at the end of November to bring him home. It's nice to hear you have a niece who is also from China. I can't wait to travel. I'm also glad I found this board. I'm sure it will be a great resource for us. I will keep you posted on our travels.
