there are also other doctors who accept videos..I think Dr. Waters in Boston does...well in anycase many of the doctors in the medical resources list have emails and you can just ask if they accept videos, too.
Do they make their final determination based on a video? no
They look at the videos - of which they have seen thousands of and they can tell by just looking at the movement and the compensations.
Does that mean they will do surgery just because of what they saw? no
They might recommend surgery and give you a surgery date but when you get there - you can either be seen in clinic or your child will get evaluated right before surgery - and they will either keep you or send you home based on what they SEE AND TOUCH right there and then.
So...the video is just a look-see... there is always the hands on.
