I am so tired of dealing with drs and their offices. I asked for my records to be transfered and they said they sent them but Dr. Nath hasn't recieved them. So now I have to pay again to have them sent. I've decided to have them send them to me so I can make my own blooming copies and send them on. That way I'll have them so if anyone else needs them I can make my own copies and won't be charged another $25 to transfer them.
Of course this means it's going to be longer before I get anything from Dr. Nath.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I hear you loud and clear!
I now get a copy of all tests and specialists reports when they come in to the doctors office.
I ask them to send me a copy immediately.
There is never a charge unless they have to copy your entire file.
I even ask them to send me a copy of my blood tests when they call to report the results.
From now on offer to go to the office and pick them up and after each test get copies for yourself and keep them in a file.
I even have copies of my MRI's and Xrays.
I was told if you ask right away after the test there is no charge.
I never paid for any copies.
Sorry you have to go through this again...
I find now I ask a lot of questions of doctors and EXPECT AND HONEST ANSWER.
If I think I am getting double talk I actually will call them on it.
I just won't listen to anymore nonsense and guessing when it comes to obpi.
