Thanks Francine,
IT makes me sad, though, Brandon loves the stuff and he really gets his teeth clean when using it !!!! Hopefully they will get it back together !! GAYLE

Isn't Listerine supposed to KILL germs, not grow them? This has got to be majorly bad press for Listerine...

We are *just* beginning the independent teeth-brushing campaign. This product sounds great. Are there similar ones out there that aren't being recalled?

KAte,
It is a great product. I could tell you that my hubby said, "Oh come on now, there is so much germ killing stuff in there, you don't need him to stop using it."I threw it away anyway.

It is an awesome product, it really is. My son was missing alot and this got him to bruch much better. Now he prefers daddy's listerine.....YUCK !!!The receptionist at the dentist told me about it !!!
It reminds me of the tablets that they used to give us as a kid. They turned your teeth red when there was plaque left. Does anyone else remember those?

Sorry, started to get off topic!!! GAYLE

We use ACT fluoride rinse.... there's a mom from this community who is a dental hygienist who told me that you can recalcify teeth with cavities just beginning just by using fluoride rinse after you brush... so far so good. Maia won't do anything minty or strong but she'll do ACT - it's bubblegum flavored. Do you know about Tooth Tunes?? the tooth brush that plays music??

I threw the blue stuff out.... gone in the trash. Buh bye yucky stuff!!

We got a little vial of drops at Joshua's last dentist appointment, which is more like the tablets I suppose. The mouthwash just sounds better.

Is there really germ killing stuff in this product? I got the impression it wasn't traditional "mouthwash" meant to fight germs. Did you all follow the link and request a refund of what you threw out? I'm willing to bet you'd also get a bunch of coupons once the product comes back out!

I'll have to look for that fluoride rinse. Noah's teeth (all 6 of them at 18 months old) are a disaster! Anything to help...

Watch out with the flouride. My oldest (now 18) was my only one to use fllouride tablets and she has yellowing problems still today. this is one of the side effects of flouride tablets for babies. I didn't use them on my last 3 kids. BTW, Kate, who's Noah? Did I miss something? I thought you had Joshua.

The neat thing about the Blue Listerine, was that it showed the kids where they missed brushing. The receptionist at the dental office, used it for her daughter with braces so that she could see where she missed. I am kind of sad, but now Brandon just uses daddy's regular listerine.....yuck !!! I will apply for my refund and we will see what happens....GAYLE
