Re: sesame place
Just remembered the name. The Variety Club of the Delaware Valley. Last year it was May 2. I'm wondering if someone knows about this year's event.

Re: Lung tests
<t>My son has not had breathing problems/asthma. We found out about his left hemidiaphragm being elevated almost by accident. He was having problems with weight gain, and they went to do some x-ray that checks the rate of how quick your stomach empties (I think it's a gastric emptying test)Anyway, t...

He just turned 4 and the pulmonologist we see says he's too young for the tests. Need to wait till about age 7. Wondering what others h...

toy for wrist extension
<t>I'm always on the lookout for fun items that can help my son's bpi arm (as I'm sure you all are, too!). I recently found one at Kmart. It is a handle you would put on a bike that makes a "vroom, vroom, vroom" noise when the handle is rolled forward and back. It sounds like a motorcycle, sort of. ...

Re: digestive problems
<t>My son had digestive problems from about 6 months on. He went from 75th percentile in weight to zero, off the scale by the time he was one. It was awful, so I know how you feel. What I'd recommend is getting to a pediatric gastroenterologist. They deal with digestive problems, etc. We also saw a ...

Re: finding an insurance co.
We were turned down for coverage due to the pre-existing condition of my son's bpi and the past surgeries, potential future surgeries, current therapy, etc. Does anyone have coverage for their child soley through Medicaid? How has that been for you? Do they cover the therapy, etc?

finding an insurance co.
<t>I am in the process of looking for health insurance as my husband may soon become self-employed. Two companies so far have refused to take us on due to our son's bp. Is anyone out there self-insured? Can you tell me the name of the insurance company? Thanks. We are in PA and see docs in DE too.</t>
