therapy items at Target

Post by StephP »

Target has some great therapy items that are normally in therapy catalogs. They must of just gotten them in because I'm at Target weekly:)
1) Balance Board $15
2) Pogo bouncer $10 ( has a large base for feet so even little ones 3+ can try)
3) Scooter board $10
4) Mini trampoline with attached bar $39

They were in the sporting goods department.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Hey guys I can realate to therapy with a smile...

I never realized it was therapy I just thought the family loved to play with me... LOL... It was great to be the youngest and not realize all the work and games related to therapy.

Kara that is funny... Now keep finding toys I have 5 grandchildren... and have to start shopping for Christmas.

I try to get each of them the big gift for Christmas. Something they really, really want.
I get my kids to tell me and then I go for it. I love to give them toys... ok I admit it I love gadgets and toys.
I refuse to buy clothing for Christmas...yuck...LOL..
So when the sales start I start to buy...
