Hello,
My daughter Savannah was injured in a car accident 1 and a half years ago. She is 6 years old. A social worker mentioned to me that she should be receiving benefits of section 504 in school, specifically OT. Has anyone obtained benefits using this plan, and if so, what benefits has your child received?

I know that many parents have dealt with this very issue. You may wish to also post this question on the General Board, if you haven't already. Also, email me and I'll give you the name of a woman whom I know who would be willing to contact you regarding what she did for her daughter and how she educated the school about her daughter's needs.
