I like the Gizmo. My husband still hasn't hung it yet but that's fine by me. The can opener part comes off to use separtly, so there's no reaching really. I'm left handed due to a ROBPI and sometimes I have trouble putting it on the can, but it's still the easiest thing I've used.
Next will be my lower paper towel rack. I enjoy being able to adjust everything so it works for me.

Smile, it will be fine. We all make it o.k. It's just trial and error at first. :)

My mom has had a stroke. She uses a short electric can opener that we picked up at walmart for about $10.00. It doesn't work well with oversized cans though.

Hello again all,

I think I have found one with the help of my "NEW" friend from this board. We meet half way between her house and mine tonight. It was a GREAT meeting. So glad to have someone who can someone relate. Although she had a child born with one and mine is from a trama we had lots of other things in common.
Without this message board I'd be ONE LOST MOM!! To all of you who have helped and listened THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
See you all very soon.....Camp is just 1 year and 1 month away. Joe and I will both be there for the proclamation. Let's bring some GREAT awareness to this injury.....lets do it in NUMBERS!! Everyone start saving and planning now.....Let's all meet in D.C. next Oct. and somehow some way bring this injury to an end!! (if it is possible--I pray it is)
