Well, I haven't posted any messages in a long while, but have been on looking at the message boards.
TeNeisha is scheduled for surgery on September 21st in Cincinnati, OH. We still have a few things to work out with insurance and all, but hopefully that will all be worked out before then. She is going next week to do another EMG and an MRI. It has been quite a while since her last EMG. She has never had an MRI, so it will be interesting to see how she reacts to that one! She is having a muscle transfer, I think that's the short term for it. The paper of course has the long drawn out technical term that no one can understand. Anyway, she is 2 1/2 now. She has learned to dress herself, mostly with her non-affected arm. She still has a lot of trouble using her ROBPI, but she does her best.
Well, will let you all know more after the surgery, if we don't have to reschedule again.

Terri,
Good luck next week. We will be thinking of you. Sophie was 2 1/2 when she had her surgery, and she did very well once we were out of the hospital. She got used to her cast in no time, and even learned how to use the potty while casted. The MRI was no problem (they put them to sleep using an IV).
Keep us posted, okay?
