I know this topic comes up alot but our TES is not working, we switched the cord the batteries and the electrodes and still we get the triangle symbol. What do I need to do? Is there a place that fixes them? Do I return it? Anyone who has been through this, please give any info you have, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wing at Dr. Pape's office would probably be the person to talk to about this because they are selling the units again from that office.

Do you mind if I list the "failure" experiences we had so that you could compare them to your list - maybe we had one you didn't check out yet?

Some batteries work well and some don't fit as well. What we do with those is put a couple of pieces of tape on the bottom of the battery to give it a snugger fit.

Also, one time the little metal leads where the batteries touch the unit got bent back, so we had to rebend them out to get the unit to work again.

Then once there was tape glue on one of the wire leads.

One time the spot where we connected the wire to the electrode was cut and we didn't notice it because it blended in.

Good luck,
francine

I posted some other reasons why it might have failed and gave Kelly a contact name at tascnetwork. Why was my post erased?

For some reason the first 2 postings in this subject didn't come up. I've also been having problems with my daughter's TES. Could you guys fill me in on the problems you have had?

Check for hairline cracks or splits on the electrodes/wires, which may prevent it from working. These units are highly sensitive. If there are any faulties with the unit, it is very important to have it corrected/replaced. Don't try to fix it on your own.
