Has anyone taken this drug for pain. Doctor is trying to wean Gianni off of vicadin and replace with this drug. He begins tomorrow.

one pill a day. It is Morphine

Had some limited success with it but I still developed tolerance quickly. Always have with morphine sulphate. Switched to methadone--never looked back. I'm one of those "methadone people" I believe it is the most effective, not to mention cheapest drug available and it has NEVER failed me.
Avinza worked great at first but then the dosage had to be adjusted up, and up, and up and it's not designed for that.I know it works for a lot of people and I hope it's your "magic bullet". It just wasn't mine---Ronin
