decreased sensation in bpi arm

We are becoming aware that our 10 month old bpi daughter has decreased sensation in parts of her arm. Her motor function is great and she won't need surgery. Will the sensation come back? What will it be like for her to grow up without it?

I am 62 and obpi. I did not realize that I had decreased sensation most of my life but learning about it helps prevent injury. Lyn posted on the adult/obpi board that she use many materials on her son so that he developed better sensations... read her post.
