Recovery at 4 yrs old!

Hello all!
At almost 4 years old, my daughter is using her affected hand to crawl along the side of her head to reach its top! On first try it was a bit of an effort, now she does it really quickly. And on the playground slide, she is using both hands, holding the side of the slide, to hold her weight to climb to the top.
Suddenly I am seeing so much new stuff, especially as she is completely aware of the differences in her arms, and the difference between right and left...
I would very much appreciate to hear from other parents that have not elected any surgical options for their BPI child.
