Just a note about our trip to Disney. We were going through our hotel and I saw a little boy that I thought had a bpi. Then after I was a little closer, I could see his scar from primary surgery. I, (of course, hubby would say) stopped his mom and we had a great chat with his parents and the two boys, almost the same age, ran around us playing like old buddies!
I wont mention your names (just in case) but it was so nice to meet you and your darling son. Hope his second surgery goes well and you get the results you hope for. Corey, Scott and Lorie
PS This is the first time we've actually seen another bpi kid outside of a picnic or the hospital and I felt really compelled to speak with the parents to make sure they knew about this board and the help that is available. They already did, but isnt this place GREAT!

That is so neat! There have been times when I've been suspicious of other kids' arms, but never had enough "evidence" or courage to say anything - always afraid I might say something wrong. I'm glad it worked out!!

We met a family while we were on vacation at the beach and their daughter was in the mod quad splint. It is funny that we almost skipped going to the beach that day. Is it fate or are there too many injured kids or both?
