Hey Man--I know--believe me I know. I saw many Drs who had me on all kinds of meds that did nothing, did little, or even made me sick. I have been BPI'd almost 11 years. Had my R arm amputated 9 yrs ago. Had some other stuff done--you know the drill--anyway, a few months ago I was ready to give it up. Then I started Methadone. I feel almost like myself again.Well, maybe not THAT good, but a helluva lot better than I did. I feel like I just might survive this after all.Get to some one who will try you on methadone for pain managment. I take 10mgs methadone twice a day and 100mgs zonegran once a day. I've been on oxycontin, morphine, dilaudid, fentenyl---methadone saved my ass. It knocks back the pain and you don't "get used" to it. If you can't get relief from your pain managment Dr. then get a new one. I have to travel once a month too. It's worth it. Good Luck. ---e-mail me any time---Ronin
