need info on 6 month post surgery follow-up

My daughter goes to TCH the end of May for her 6 month post-primary follow-up. I was needing info on what to take (if anything) and most importantly some ideas on questions to ask the doctor. I have started a list of questions, but just want to be sure and not forget anything while we are face-to-face with her doctors.

I don't think there is anything you need to take with you, unless your daughter is wearing any splints in therapy. I can't think of to many questions to ask the doctors. My daughter had primary at 6.5 months old and then the MQ at 11.5 months old. I would ask how she is doing. Do you think the nerve grafts (if she had any done) took. That was my biggest question. I wasn't very patient waiting for the bicep to come back. Is she tight or does she have any contractures? Is she internally rotated? What should we be doing in therapy? What further surgeries if any are we looking at in the future for your daughter? I can't think of anymore questions. If you want you can e-mail me if you think of any other questions you might have. Good Luck!!! When Hannah had her evaluation after primary we were told then that she needed the MQ even though we thought she was doing well. Expect anything.
