TES Workshop in Detroit

Post by wslam »

The TASC Network would like to announce a Threshold Electrical Stimulation workshop in Detroit on May 15 and 16, 2004. The Children's Hospital of Michigan will be hosting this workshop with Leslie McKibben as the instructor. This workshop will teach the Brachial Plexus Injury protocols as well as the Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida protocols. Please let your therapists know about the workshop if they are interested in adding TES to their skill set. Full detail are on at www.tascnetwork.net under Talks and Courses.

Thanks a bunch! My PT is very interested in this! IS this something that regular people can come to as well, meaning not a PT or OT? Thanks!

The course in Detroit is just for professional, but the TASC Network is planning a series of combined parent/professional programs for people who are doing the ONE YEAR PLAN. More about the plan can be found on www.tascnetwork.net. The BPI Program schedule should be up on the TASC website by the 1st of May.

Does the Children's Hospital of Michigan perform surgeries for bpi? I live in Michigan and I am trying to find a surgeon to do the gracillis muscle transfer surgery on me.

Thanks
