Hi everyone. We took our daughter, Poppy-Leigh to see the Consultant on Wednesday this week, sorry it has took me so long to let you all know how we got on. He said that her EMG showed that there was some nerve activity in her Bicep so he wants to leave her for 2 months to see if her body repairs itself. He also said just because he is leaving her for the two months does not mean that she may not need an operation. Did not know what to make of it at first but after talking it over with a good friend (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!) i have come to the conclusion that this is the right way to go. I am trying to stay positive, as hard as that is at times. Thought i should let you all know. Thanks for listening! Clare Newton xx

Clare:
Glad to hear this news. You must be very happy right now.
When Mariella was in her first year of life we were also told to give it a couple more months here and there before we made a surgery decision. (for nerve surgery)
Since Ella was always doing so well at her visits and showed her doctor much progress we waited until 11 months old to make our final "no nerve surgery" decision.
Since your little one has active bicep function I think it is a great idea to give her more time. I believe that you will be pleased with her improvements to come. Good luck with everything.
