Dr. Scott Wolfe

Has anyone been to Dr. Wolfe in Manhattan. I am in the process of scheduling an appointment with him. Gianni had his nerve graft surgery with Dr. Kline in New Orleans. We went back to him for the first post op check-up. We live in New York and the travel is becoming to expensive, so I asked Dr. Kline if Dr. Wolfe could take over Gianni's care and he was very happy to help us out. Dr. Wolfe's bio, www.hss.edu/htdoc/physicians/physician_ ... /wolfe.asp sounds like he is very good. I would love some feed back.

Best regard,

I've heard positive things about him. You'll know more after you meet him personally & get a "feel" for his manner & experience. Would you still check in w/Dr. Kline periodically?

Most definitly. We went to Dr. Kline because he is the best. Now that the delicate nerve surgery is over and looking at Dr. Wolfe's cridentials, I feel confident that Dr. Wolfe would be a great doctor for Gianni to continue with. Dr. Kline also agreed, he has sent all of Gianni's records to Dr. Wolfe.

I interviewed Dr. Wolfe prior to having surgery at the Mayo Clinic and found him to be an exellent Dr. who was very honest and straight forward. He actually recomended I get surgery at the Mayo Clinic, because they could offer better results (since they have a team of three surgeons working at the same time) than he could. He also came highly recomended by a family friend that is a top notch shoulder surgeon in NYC. Good luck.

Christopher,
It's good to see you posting again, missed your insight. How about an update on your recovery? You can email it if you would rather do it that way. I am 2mos and 3 weeks post surgery, and trying to be patient. Cheers...Karl...

Dr. Wolfe is the best. He has done so much for me and has the best bed side manner. He is very honest and caring. He is worth the trip.

May 24th Gianni will see Dr. Wolfe. I am very disappointed in his recovery so far. It is one and a half years since nerve surgery and he really has not gotten anything back to speak of. In the beginning we thought things where happening, but really he has had very little recovery. We are going to see Dr. Wolfe and see what he has to say about his recovery so far and what other surgery Gianni might need.
