Steroid Injection

I had my bpi 33 years ago and over the last year the burning sensation in my hand has got worse. I visited the pain management doctor and he sent me for a emc/emg. From the results he reckons an op on the nerves in my elbow could fix it but first he is going to put a steroid injection in the nerve (radial I presume) I'll keep you posted how it goes but I am interested to know if anyone else has had this treatment?

Hi Phil...it's a new one on me (steroid injections) but I would be very interested to hear how it turns out. There is so little info or indeed treatment out there specifically for people who have had a TBPI for many years. Good luck with it...hope it works.
