Very Touched

Post by admin »

This may not seem like much but it brought tears to my eyes today, so I just had to share. My therapist had a very good anatomy book that she had shared with me. I have been wanting to get a copy for myself so I finally called to place a phone order today. After the lady took all of my information, she asked "so, are you a student?" I told her that I was just a mother, whose child was injured at birth and that I have been trying to learn all that I can about all the muscles impacted by the injury. She said "I am going to send you this book free of charge". I said "You don't need to do that". She said, "I have to the ability to do that and am sending you the book for free. You just take care of that little boy". I got all choked up and told her how much I appreciated it. Sometimes this injury takes away so much of your hope, it is just so beautiful when a complete stranger renews your hope in human kindness and compassion.

So glad you were able
* to get the book
* educate about BPI
* find some one with compassion and
restore our faith in human nature
I'd say you had a major victory and made me and others feel good too, well done

another one for you.

i was in a small cafe in Edinburgh the other day ad the food was put on to a tray behind the counter and then put beside the till. so i rolled my sleeve up on my right (Erbs) arm so i could hold the tray. But the guy who was serving me just said "Where are uyou sitting" so i said where i was and he took over for me.

It meant a lot as he asked no questions he just did it so it was great.
