Someone sent me a copy of this article in the post today http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3514937.stm and I found it really interesting. Alright, I know we can't walk around 24/7 with VR headsets on, ;0) but I was impressed by the researchers' innovative use of the distraction theory.
Interesting to see how he is using VR to help traumatised victims of 911 overcome their PTSD.
