Good news on Second EMG!

Hello to everyone. My daughter Julia had her second EMG on the 18th of Feb. She had no return in c5 and c6 the first EMG when she was 2 1/2 months old. The new EMG at 5 1/2 months was different. Biceps in her good arm are 4000 and biceps in the affected arm are at 1000 and the deltiod is at 750. Dr. DeSouza said they are working at a 1/4% of what they should be working at. We can't be any happier to have gotten that news. She is still going for primary surgery on March 30th, and that is just fine with us. Dr. DeSouza is going to give Julia a botox injection on Friday the 27th. So we are looking forward to seeing any movement what so ever. So it's not always as bad as you may think.

I'm so happy to hear this, I guess this means no avulsion! Yippee!!
