Mother’s Day Art Exhibit Art Contest
Southern California Brachial Plexus Network (SCBPN) is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch and Art Exhibit on Saturday, May 1, 2004. The brunch will include an art exhibit displaying artwork from children with Brachial Plexus Injuries (BPI). The children’s exhibit at the 2002 Art Exhibit was such a huge success; we decided to make it our main focus.
To enter, each contestant should submit artwork using any medium on 8 ½ x 11 paper based on the theme “What Spring Means to Me...”. Submissions will be judged and the top entry in each age group will be professionally framed and the artist will be awarded a plaque. The framed artwork will be sold by silent auction with the proceeds benefitting SCBPN. All other entries will be mounted for display and sold at silent auction.
Entry Guidelines:
Children 17 and younger with no assistance from an adult
Size must be 8 ½ x 11- Please do not fold when mailing
One entry per BPI child
It may be drawing, painting, collage or any other medium
Piece must be titled
Include a small bio and photo of the artist
Entries must be post marked by March 15, 2004
Must include contact person with name and daytime phone (i.e. Parent/Guardian)
If all of the above guidelines are not followed, the entry will be disqualified and not returned
No entries will be returned and will be sold along with bio at exhibit
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ATTACHED RELEASE FORM
