memory problems & weight loss

I switched to topamax last february after being on lithium since 1998 and gaining 120 pounds. I have since lost 70 pounds of that weight which has made me extremely happy. But on the downside, I am losing my memory just as quickly if not at the speed of light. Is there any help for the memory loss?
