Kaci's progress

Post by Jill (Kaci's mom) »

After finding this site, I have become really aware of how involved all of you stay in your child's progress. I have noticed this week that Kaci has made tremendous progress since her surgery, I just hadn't noticed because I was too busy looking for complete healing of her arm. Kaci is bringing her arm to her mouth and she is bringing it to a 90 position while sitting. This is so much better than before surgery. Kaci's OT helped me realize this last week at therapy. Every small step is wonderful!

Jill,

You will find yourself jumping for joy when you gain 5 degrees of movement:) No one else will understand why you are so happy. We have been in this journey for 7 years and each new movement, no matter how big or small is cause for celebration.

Good luck to you and Kaci!
