developmental delay

My son Thomas has LOBPI he had primary surgery in Oct. We just have started rolling over.(big smile) Our therapist has notice that he has some clonic spasm's in his left leg and does not have the lower back tone he should have. We went to the doctor Thursday and he said Thomas was developmentaly delayed.?? Because of his injury or other birth trauma. We had a CT done and it was fine thank God. He also said Thomas's face was not developed the same on the left that it was not symetrical. I was wondering if any of you know anything that would help us help him. Any one had the same problems?
