Piecing traumatic birth together

Hi,
I'm new here. I am finding myself on this 'quest' to figure out what happened to me. I had an auto accident at age 28 in 1996 that has left me in chronic pain...myofascial pain syndrome is what they call it. EMGs have also shown Brachial Plexus stretch damage and Radiculopathy at c-5-6-7-8-t1. The nature of the auto accident would have caused brachial plexus damage.
BUT, after having looked all over the www about brachial plexus, I found that a lot of traumatic birth results in brachial plexus damage. Talk about traumatic birth. I was stuck at the shoulder. I was a forceps delivery...fractured skull, cornea damage (still evident), mother had fractured tailbone etc. NOW, I wonder if the brachial plexus prob was there all along hanging out waiting to be reinjured.
Has anyone here had anything like this come up?
I have insane pain, numbness, stabbing, aching, shooting, tingling, etc all the way down my arm into my fingers and into my back.
Thanks for listening,
Suzanne
