Here on Long Island, it was 2 degrees when I dropped my sweet Nicolette off at my sister's house...they left for Florida today. Yes, you read that right, my daughter (and sister, brother in law & nephew) is in Florida and I am freezing my $%#%@@$ off!!!!!!

The wind chill here is a balmy -20F.

I should have taken the block heater option!

And my sister had the gall to tell me that it was going to be "warmer today, up to 18F" Nice talk from the one who is going to Captiva Island today. Oh, and we haven't made it 18F, it is still 10F.

I think I'll move to Arizona!!

Now if I go online....I can see the houses I want to buy....

have a warm day,
claudia

I say thesummer's here are worth putting up with the winter's. 1 in 4 car's do not start. It is pure ice here and one large skating rink. I fall everytime I leave the house, my son has bruises all over his knees. Try scraping 2 inches of ice off your windows.

I'm sorry but my Montana cold weather must of come down your way. We are having a warming trend here and everything is melting now. 36 degrees right now!
I hope you all make it through the cold spell. Snuggle up in a nice blanket, have a cup of hot cocoa and watch a movie.
