i have not been on the boards for a few months, just got tired of bpi consuming my life. took a break but not from the daily stuff like pt / ot marlin is doing very well after her mod quad she is always getting more strength. at pt she is swinging on the parallel bars. i am not too sure that is a good idea but her pt says that if she is doing it on her own it is ok. i just dont' want her shoulder to dislocate. any way we are moving forward with marlin's legal case, the complaint was filed last week our atty pointed out something to me that i didn't know before. in the medical records the drs notes- ther was the classic late entry which was not noted as a late entry or timed or dated as it should be but merely crammed in and it said atramatic birth mcroberts manuever and subpuric pressure (this is the most shocking thing that was written) infant moving both arms well. i am baffled by why he would have put this in the notes and it brings up all kinds of anger in my heart. every time i think that i am getting past the emotional pain of her injury it comes back to me in some form. either surgery, or finding out that her nerves we avulsed and the amount of pressure required to cause this type of injury and finally this. a cheap attempt to worm his way out of libility. it sickens me
on a positive note marlin is of course the prettiest child i have ever seen and also the smartest!!! she is just the light of my life and i am so grateful that i have her in my life. a couple of months ago she a fever of 104 i called the dr he said to give her tylonel and a luke warm bath to get her tem down did that and put her back to bed. i don't know why other that god told me to go get my baby that minute but i got her and put her to bed with me. not five minutes later she started having a sizure. it was the scarriest time of my life i thought she was going to die. when we got to the hospital her temp was 105.7 they could not get a diagonises until days after when she broke out with rosieola (sp) the long and the short of it is that she is fine just a terrifying experience.
well i am technically at work so i should log off, i just went back to work jan2, i miss my girl so much i can't tell you how hard this has been on me but i have been lucky to be with her for almost 2 yrs so i am grateful for that time

how dare he put that in your file. WHen i first saw you it was one or two days befor surgery. It was very appernert that she had bpi if he didn't see i he is a moorran. the dr, won't get away with it. I said at one time i don't think that my dr was negalegent welli too have desided to sue.I glad that marlin is better now. I will be going back to work as soon as i find affordable day care. Nice having you back!

- roseola can run pretty hot- I totally think you are a wonderful mom for having her in bed with you- I think more people should sleep with their babies especially if they are sick- good for you!
