It's a Girl !

Post by admin »

I haven't posted for awhile. My wife and I had our first baby last week - a little girl. She was born January 3rd. She was 7lbs 2oz. We named her Sophia. Mom and baby are doing great. I am still a little nervous about handling her with one arm. I sort have to hold her like a football with her head in the palm of my hand and her body along the inside of arm. She is absolutely beautiful. I have not felt any arm pain for an entire week !

Cheers to you all

Congrats on your little newbie bundle, Rich !!!! Nothing like the little pitter-patter. Hey....don't worry any bout the football position. Thats the way I carried all my bundles when I had TWO good arms :o) Exciting news !! Sophia is a pretty name.....

Glad you've no pain for a spell. We all deserve a little break from this mess every now and then. Sounds like you've got a great distraction.....

That is wonderful news!! What a beautiful name. All the Sophia's I know are spunky and tough with great smiles.

Don't be nervous about holding her. You will get the hang of it quickly and both of you will snuggle into a comfortable position.
