to make a long story short,I had a Esophageal Dialation and within approx. 7 days, i had shortness of breath and high bloodpressure--after many tests of all kinds and 2nd opinion at Mayo it was determened that my Phoenic Nerve was damaged and causing my right side diaphram to work causing the shortness of breath------has anyone out their had a simular experance with a Esophageal Dialation as the phrenic nerve runs along the Esohages to the diaphram ,so we were told and wonder if its possible that the dialation damaged the nerve.
