ERBs in Canada

hi, I'm new to this so please be patient. I'm a new grandmother to a now 1 month old erbs baby. We have been to a specialist and are scheduled to see therapists but not sure what to expect or where to turn. Everyone keeps asking if we are going to sue but ...truth is...I don't know. Do we or don't we...
Anyone know of anywhere in Canada I could get some info or help?
