Hi everyone, it's been a while!!! Baby #3...

is on the way. We just found out that it is a boy (we have two girls!!!) and we are super excited at the changes this little man will make in our house. My OB is a major VBAC advocate but he said "NO WAY" for me. We have really been sick here in Missouri, my two girls and my husband and I have all had the flu for about 2 weeks and our city has lost 2 children to the flu already... has been scary. Logan (my LOBPI) has had fevers up to 105 for a week and a half now and she wakes up at night crying about her LOBPI hand hurting... she never complains about her arm. Has anyone else noticed increased pain with fever???

Congrats on the baby! Now you will have another fisherman in your house:) Sorry you have all been so sick. It's bad here in KS too.

Natalie, are you in Kansas City? I live in Stilwell, KS. Read my note under "Sick house here!" about the flu. It's really serious as you know....so sad about those kids. My brother was almost a statistic. He's still in the hospital recovering from the flu/pneumonia/lung infection. He nearly died. Take care of yourself and family!!
As for fever and arm pain - YES! My son has the same thing. He has what sounds like electric zings down his arm. He's 8 and he describes it as his arm is "shocking" him. I posted a note about this last year and a lot of people commented that they or their children have the same pain with fevers. Very strange but true. Tyler's went away when his fever went away.

Congratulations on the boy! How exciting. I have a house full of boys....I wouldn't mind a little estrogen, but oh well.....I LOVE 'EM!

Natalie - congratulations!! Sorry to read that you were so sick... but so happy to hear about your pregnancy! Like Logan - Maia complains about her arm and hand hurting when she is sick....often it feels very hot - burning hot - when she has a fever....
