Hi all,

I've been on a much needed hiatus for a few months now so I'm sure there are lots of new members. Here's a quick update:

Natalie (just turned 4) had her fourth surgery--bicep lengthening--in October. The results have been very favorable. We're still getting used to seeing her with a straight arm! I took her to TCH last Thursday for a follow up and they are also pleased with her progress. Now it's time for the next step--pronator teres transfer and infraspinatus release. She's scheduled for 2/11. We'll go earlier if they have a cancellation. The part we're dreading most is the SOL splint (AGAIN). We're doing it now so that she won't have to deal with the New Mexico heat while in the splint.

Welcome back Stacey, we too are back after a little "break" from the boards- now with the holidays settled I feel like I can get back into the swing of things (until something else comes up lol)
Welcome back, and any information you can share about school services you may have been able to get or any helpful advice I'd love to have it- we go up against the schools in the next couple of months
TJ is nearly 3 and had secondary surgery with Dr Waters nearly a year ago- he had a follow up MRI today and things are looking better.

hi stacy! welcome back from your break. Sorry to hear that more surgery is coming up in February. My only advice to you is to get some really good sleep.... 5 weeks and we still have not had more than 2 hours at a clip!

Nice to see you! I haven't been on much lately myself. I don't have internet at home anymore etc..

I am glad Natalie is doing so well! I have thought about you guys and was wondering how she is doing after the Capsulodesis? What are all the other surgeries for? I keep thinking this is the last, but maybe I am wrong?

Alyssa is scheduled for this surgery on February 11th at TCH. If you and Natalie are going to be there, I would love to hook up with you guys. We are staying at the Marriott and plan on arriving on the 9th. Get in touch with me if you want to hook up!
