Suzie- I'm still here. I just don't feel like chatting right now. Thanx for all the support. There's just a lot of crap going thru my head, the problem is that most of it is honestly realistic. It just sucks when thinking about my future, holds such limiting possibilties.

Susan~
It is completely normal to be depressed. But we all are in the same boat here, if we can keep going so can you. Who is with you during the day? Lonelyness sometimes makes it worse. At least get out and look at the x-mas decorations or start x-mas shopping. Its hard to get up and get going but once you do you'll feel so much better. Do something that makes you feel good, get a make-over, bake cookies, get a new hair style, buy a cute hat and scarf.
We do you live? Want some company?

Hey Sue,
I have not posted here in ages. Been doing the life thing and don't seem to have much time for computers lately. But, I felt I needed to respond to your comment "... about my future, holds such limiting possibilities."
The only thing limiting your future is you not your injury. I am not sure how long it has been since you were injured but I have been dealing with this since 1991. In the beginning I guess I felt like you. But, you know what, I was wrong. So many areas of my life were made better by my accident. I know that sounds crazy but they were. I found that I was much stronger than I ever thought possible. I found that I could still do things just had to learn to do them differently. Granted I may have limitations but none that stop me from living life to its fullest.
One of my favorite sayings that keeps me going is "You have to redefine your victories." Every moment alive and on this earth to watch your family and friends and loved ones around you is a victory. Yes, you may be in pain while enjoying said victory but at least you are alive to feel it.
Even though I have not been around for awhile one thing I do know about this board.... you are not alone.... you can always find support here.
