That is amazing Jenny, and soooo coooool !! It's also very hard to believe, cause that big cat looks awfully hungry. Must be maternal instincs to the max. Those cats are also very social critters, and I wouldn't doubt that the big girl is enjoying the company. There's a lesson there, huh ?

AAGGHH! I hope not too! Thanks for posting the story. It was so interesting. I was going to show my 9 year old the story tonight and I'll bet she'll want to print if off and share it with her class tomorrow. She's in 4th grade - loves all animals - has hamsters, cats and a dog. We feed wild raccoons at our backdoor everynight. Sometimes we have possums and stray cats eating with them - last night they all shared leftover pizza. The stray cat has a striped "coon-looking" tail. (Whole other direction with story?!:) Anyway - thanks for sharing the story.

That's funny Jenny.....me thinks it's more like the Lion played with it's food...if the animal wasn't so well fed it would have eaten that tastey treat right off the hat...YUMMY 2 big bites
