Zoe's insurance denied us today for her surgery with Dr. Nath on Monday morning. We talked to George and he said the reason for denial can be fixed and he rescheduled the surgery for Dec. 15 so hopefully we will be good to go then.

Oh Kimberly, I'm sorry you have to go through this. But as Courtney said, just keep at them. I'm glad George is working this out for you, he is really good.
Hugs to little Zoe!

Hi Kimberly:
Sorry to hear the news! Isn't that such a last minute thing? I thought you would know earlier.
Remember....things happen for a reason! Maybe this is good for Zoe to wait until Dec for a reason none of us know. Hope you are okay with this though. Talk to you soon.

Hi. I'm sorry to hear about the denial. I also have to fight with my insurance company about covering Brooke for her primary. Fortunately I am schooled in law and have some legal arguments to go on. This is a contract issue. What are the reasons for the denial? Maybe I can help you write a letter on legal premises via your insurance policy. If you want some help let me know via this board where I can e-mail you.

Hey girl...keep your chin up..and keep fighting. I know it gets old but..........has to be done. Anything I can help with, let me know. I'm getting to learn the ropes little by little. what kind of insurance do you have? Our BC/BS actually paid $5127.00 toward Court's $45,000.00 bill..........I could have done that good but State Farm picks the rest of it up. They just haven't received the bill yet. Need help with anything, e mail me, k? Good Luck and hugs and kisses to Zoe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Shelley

Thank you everyone for your comments and support. The reason we were turned down was because in the authorization letter her primary doc put that she needs to be treated for a brachial plexus injury, instead of putting erb's palsey. we didn't know it was so diferent, so they are working with george to correct this. we found out if it had said erb's palsy instead, we would have been covered.
So, hopefully this time we will get covered.
