tendon transfer for finger extension

Does anyone have any before and after pictures or videos of a child that has had the tendon transfers to be able to open their fingers up? Our daughter only has use of first two digits and I would like to see the results of this surgery. Is the movement fluid and natural looking that they get?
Thanks,
Kelli

Kelli,
I am an adult wiht lobpi, I had the mod quad done in Sept. of 2003 and my fingers were close together as well. Indeed it did work for me. I can also cross my middle finger over my index finger now which I was never able to do before surgery. I am very impressed with it and I'm sure the younger it is done the better it should work.

Bringing this back to the top. This would be my daughter's fourth surgery. She has had primary, mod quad, bicep lenghthening. I am seeking information on the transfer of flexor tendons in the bottom of the hand to the top of the hand, changing their function to extensor tendons.
Thanks,
Kelli

Well, if you guys can wait a couple more months I can get them for you. Caleb is to have this surgery (or something like it, the doctor has to be inside before he knows which muscle he will use) done on December 18th. You can see his before pics here:

Right now it's under construction, so if you give the link a few days things will look a lot nicer. :)
